Best Little Covid Christmas Pageant Ever
Laughs abound in the bestselling Christmas classic The Best Little Christmas Pageant Ever that has been adapted to great acclaim by Spirit of Newfoundland Productions. This year things will be different as we reflect the pandemic and make this “The Best Little COVID Christmas Pageant Ever”. The show follows the outrageous shenanigans of the Herdman siblings, or “the worst kids in the history of the world.” The siblings take over the annual Christmas pageant in a hilarious yet heartwarming tale involving the Three Wise Men, a ham, scared shepherds, and six rowdy kids.
Ralph, Imogene, and Leroy Herdman are an awful bunch. They set fire to stuff, try to steal the church’s wine, and even smacked Alice across the head. When the Herdmans show up at church for the free snacks and suddenly take over the Christmas pageant, the other kids are shocked. It’s obvious that they’re up to no good. But Christmas magic is all around and the Herdmans, who have never heard the Christmas story before, start to reimagine it in their own way.
This year’s pageant is definitely like no other, but maybe that’s exactly what makes it so special. This classic tale was written by Barbara Robinson who gave Spirit of Newfoundland permission to adapt it to a musical. It is directed by Peter Halley.
Followed by a Roaring 20's Cabaret featuring Peter Halley & Shelley Neville as hosts with special guests such as Nathalie Noseworthy and Keith Power. Be sure to dress in your best 1920's glorious glam as we say goodbye to 2020.

Pan-seared Atlantic salmon filet with shrimp creole sauce (flavourful and perfectly spiced New Orleans-inspired rosé sauce), roasted potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
Champagne & Strawberry Flourless Chocolate Torte
Infused with champagne, drizzled with strawberry coulis and served with freshly whipped cream. (naturally gluten free!)
